Who’s Eligible?
- First-time entering undergraduate at UCA
- Pell-eligible OR household income of $100,000 or less
- Arkansas resident and high school graduate or GED
- Complete FAFSA and send to UCA (School Code: 001092)
- Submit proof of Arkansas Academic Challenge Application
- Apply to UCA Commitment and submit ACT/SAT scores
Most Conway students who complete FAFSA + the Challenge app and meet GPA/test score cutoffs will qualify.
What’s Covered
The UCA Commitment covers tuition and academic fees for 4 years. It does not cover housing or meals, but UCA offers help finding additional aid.

Frequently Asked Questions (UCA Commitment)
What are the service requirements?
Participants must complete at least 10 service hours per semester. This can include volunteering with nonprofits, participating in community service projects, or other approved activities. The UCA Commitment office can help you find opportunities that fit your interests.
What are the renewal requirements?
To continue receiving the UCA Commitment, you must:
- Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA at UCA.
- Complete the required service hours each semester.
- Submit the FAFSA by April 1 each year.
- Enroll in a minimum of 15 credit hours each fall and spring semester.
- Remain in good standing with the university.
