Frequently Asked Questions
How does Frontier actually work?
After Pell, Arkansas Challenge, and other aid post to your account, Frontier fills the rest—tuition, books, room & board—so you can focus on learning, not loans.
Renewal requirements?
Complete 12 credit hours each semester, keep a 2.0 GPA, remain in good standing, and continue to show financial need via FAFSA.
Is there an ACT cutoff?
No formal ACT requirement; a strong record helps in the competitive interview process.
Can I stack Frontier with other Ozarks awards?
Frontier is a last-dollar grant after institutional aid, so other Ozarks scholarships are absorbed, but private/external awards may still stack.
